While fleeing from the flood of thoughts, the view through the camera shields the experiencable environment like blinkers. The remaining fragments of the perceivable reality are imaginary shelters, which materialize in the process of photography. This experience of alleged clarity, emptiness and vastness are consolidated in them. The absence of the flood releases the room.
These photographs, taken over two years, are documents of a search for irredeemable calmness. As an archive they are collected in a leporello.
